Is this my annual post?

I’ve published some private books for discipleship lately.

And I’ve done a lot of coding. I finished the Bible index for eReaders and I’ve started adding text for a Greek Bible and another Bible version that I use every day and want available without relying on a heavily scripted Bible App. That’s what’s secretly driving my ambitions. To have a digital Bible without relying on an app. Low tech solutions.

so here I set up outside in the fresh country air and tap, clip, paste, type…

In a couple weeks I’ll tease one of the new books hot off the press.

Edit update 5-25-24:

I put together these sample books to try out for Friday night Bible reading. If they work out then I’ll pitch them to the publisher.

Edit update 6-3-24:

I also put together the book of Acts for discipleship reading and got the proofs today. I asked the publisher holding the copyright for the NKJV concerning permission to use the NKJV and they’ve said no. That just means it’s up to me to change their minds or change the direction of the project. My prediction is that major publishers like these are bastions of a bygone era and will probably be irrelevant in the years to come anyway. It would be far more beneficial and profitable to pursue an alternative avenue to publish just about anything. Any company that holds such strict rules for use over materials considered “Holy Scripture” are in serious trouble anyway just based on principle.
